Daily Northeast Region Eggs
Prices are steady. The undertone is steady. Supplies are light to
instances moderate. The Northeast shell egg inventory is down 0.5%
when compared last week. Offerings are light to moderate. Inclement
weather in the area continues to cause disruptions to transportation
schedules. Retail demand is moderate to good. Food service demand is
very light. Market activity is moderate. Eastern region breaking
stock supples are light to moderate for less than normal to normal
breaking schedules. Spent hen offerings are at least moderate for
normal to reduced processing schedules.
